Foundation Year - Online Program

CERTIFICATE IN VISUAL ARTS PROGRAM

The Online Foundation Year is the first year of the Three-Year Visual Arts Program and lays the essential groundwork for a professional art education. This course is designed to offer highly personalized instruction through small virtual groups and regular individual feedback from our expert faculty.

Students are guided through a structured progression of classical training: starting with drawing and painting basic geometric forms, moving on to still life, casts, and ultimately portraiture. All assignments are supported by detailed video lessons, visual demonstrations, and live mentorship.

The program is ideal for those who seek flexibility without compromising on the depth and quality of traditional academic training.
Upon successful completion, students are awarded the Certificate in Visual Arts and become eligible to join the second year of the Three-Year Program (Diploma in Visual Arts), either on-site in Florence or continuing online.
